Our team won the Third prize in the competition for solution of the new pedestrian bridge over the Soča river near Tolmin, Slovenia.
The bridge is designed as suspension bridge with one inclined steel pylon of the height of 25 m above the bridge deck and spans the Soča river with the span of 110 m.
The steel hollow box bridge superstructure, of the width of 3.3 m and the height of only 80 cm, crosses the Soča river in horizontal radius 150 m what enables the bridge without expansion joints and bearings.
