Marjan Pipenbaher To Lecture At the XX. Days of the Croatian Chamber of Civil Engineers, Opatija

The XX. Days of the Croatian Chamber of Civil Engineers (HKIG) is being held in Opatija between June 11 and 13, 2026.

On June 12, dr.h.c. Marjan Pipenbaher will deliver an invited lecture titled “From Idea to Structure: The Kaštela Bay Bridge.

The lecture is based on the recent international design competition commissioned by the Croatian national road authority, Hrvatske ceste. In March 2026, an expert jury selected the winning conceptual design for the St. Duje Bridge in Split, developed by a team comprising the Croatian architecture studio 3LHD and the bridge experts at Pipenbaher Consulting Engineers.
